while I was looking around blogs, so it was strange to open your blog and see his name as the title of your post.
by the way, you are very brave to put a link about this issue on balatarin. I am not a member of balatarin, but from what i see , it feels like the space is controlled by closely linked gangs or something.
Anyway, thanks this post, i learned details about the case that i didn't know about.

نیکی جان من استفاده از بالاترین را توصیه می کنم. در آنجا نه یکی که چندین گنگ و گروه فشار وجود دارد که گاهی هم به جان هم می افتند. اما در کل تجربه خوبی است به خصوص اگر حوصله بحث کردن با آدم های مختلف را در کامنتها داشته باشی. کمک میکند به آشنا شدن با طرز فکر نسل جدید.
در ضمن, این که گاهی میبینی اظهار نظرهای خیلی ها بوی راست گرایانه (با استاندارد غربی) و نئوکانی یا صهیونی میدهد به نظرم طبیعی است. برای جوانهای دانشجو در ایران اینگونه فکر کردن یکجور بیرون زدن از قالب و مخالفت با Establishment است. بیشتر ما تا وقتی ایران بودیم کمابیش همین حرفها را می زدیم.
Fist of all, You're looking down at young people inside Iran, just because they don't hate America like Niki or unlike you they don't sympatise with a Lebanese murderer you are accusing them of being naive and wanna be neocons. No disrespect Ehsan but your post is sick. You are trying to imply the doubts about a murderer because he is not on the Israeli side. Of course he wouldn't admit to it!!!! Who on earth would admit to killing a 4 year old in that barbaric way.
and you're again ignoring the witnesses becuase they're Israeli Jews and you have decided not believe them in case that murderer is right.. Sad. Don't get me wrong I have my own problems with the govnt of Israel but I would never for a sec let that fact lead me into feeling sorry for someone who kills innocent people.
I appreciate people are a bit liberal in CA but can't believe someone could possibly have any sympathy for a terrorist
Ehsan Jan- You are right, i understand that some of the sentiment from inside iran comes from a place of wanting to show their disagreement or resistance to the establishment, and luckily I'm seeing more and more people who are showing some critical thinking in this regard and questioning not just propaganda they find in Iran, but what they get from the US-Isaeli side as well (VOA, radio farda, etc).
Maybe one of these days I'll ask you to kindly invite me to balatarin. In the meantime, i'll stick to participating in the websites i like! have a nice weekend.

Niki, I agree with you on the basic fact that the present generation has a broader world view than its' predecessors. And I admit that they know better how to participate in a heated political discussion without quickly resorting to character attacks.
Would you share with me some of those forums that you prefer to participate in? IS any of them Farsi?

Sina, I tried to briefly present two opposite viewpoints with regards to this person. Only one of those camps maintains that he is a murderer. I also tried to understand why, assuming he is the murderer you believe him to be, he can still live with himself. I don't think Niki hates America. For all I know, she uses her rights as an individual to dissent. I'm sorry if I seem to have looked down on the Iranian youth, but in a blog comment section I don't think I have to be too polite or too politically correct. Moreover, I actually looked down on myself, ten years younger.

Armin, if you said bipolar I could understand, because I have tried to present two opposite views in one short post. But imbecile I cannot grasp, nor did other people around me who are guaranteed to have their sanity and intelligence intact. So, would you be an angel and provide us with your reasons for calling me those names, so we can discuss it with a shrink.

ناشناس دوم: ممنون از حسن نظرت. به نظرم آدم با صلاحیت تر از من برای اصلاح ویکی پدیا وجود داشته باشد. به هر حال ویکی پدیای فارسی در مجموع خیلی ناقص است و موارد بسیار پر اولویت تر برای اصلاح در آن فراوان است.
