It's not just US citizens, Ehsan Jan. Kish Island is a Free Zone Area of Iran. I believe foreigners who arrive Kish are issued a temporary stay visa for Kish at the airport, and they are not allowed to enter the Iranian mainland. Many European businessmen choose to travel to Kish when they wish to have business meetings with Iranians on short notice; otherwise it would take weeks to get a visa. That's what I know about this subject. Be good.
Isn't that one ex-CIA officer who has been missing in Iran since the spring got into Iran? I think he was in Kish too, and I think he got there by taking advantage of this thing.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing about Robert Levinson, the former FBI dude who gooya met with that Kandahar film dude who later turned out to be a killer, in Kish!
Robert Levinson has been missing since March!
Does anybody know which airline go directly to Kish Island form out of Iran territory????
نازی جان ممنون از توضیح. ولی من هنوز هم از این که امریکایی ها را استثنا نکرده اند تعجب می کنم. تازه چرا وبسایت وزارت خارجه شان میگوید از دبی به کیش؟
نیکی و نازلی (سبیل) عزیز, ممنون از یادآوری. آره یه همچین جریانی بود. به نظرم خبرش رو یه جایی دیده بودم. انگار اون قضیه برای امریکایی ها هم یه جورایی هزینه ساز بود چون خیلی زود بی خیالش شدن و سر و صدا رو خابوندن.
