I don't know how I missed this post! Reading it out of sequence now, I just want to say that though we have already talked about Bollinger's unprofessional and unacademic behavior, I would like to repeat here something I always tell my children: we must command respect instead of demanding it. We "demand" respect for Ahmadinejad, because he is a President and Bollinger should not have invited him and insulted him. Ahmadinejad himself has lost numerous opportunities to "command" respect, by virtue of topics, contents, and vehicles of the messages he has conveyed to the world. In other words, it is really hard to respect him now. Iranians say: "Khod kardeh ra tadbir nist..." Be good Ehsan Jan.
